Our next #luxelistapproved resort is the Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort:
The Jewel of the Desert since 1929
Whenever I head back to the land I called home for SO long, I try to soak up as much of that sunshine as possible! With sunny weather nearly 3/4 of the year, it's no wonder Arizona is full of so many fabulous resorts! The Arizona Biltmore is no exception, and in fact, is one of my absolute favorites!
While growing up, stays at the Arizona Biltmore provided the fondest memories of pool-time shenanigans with my brothers, followed by getting dressed up for sophisticated Afternoon Tea with my mother. The Arizona Biltmore brought pretend tea parties to life with exquisite china, tasty teas, miniature sandwiches and the most indulgent desserts. It's a tradition that has gone on at the Biltmore for nearly 90 years! Now that I have gotten older, I highly enjoy the fact I can add Champagne to this #luxelistapproved royal experience!
While I'm a little too old to enjoy the pool-side shenanigans I used to, I most certainly enjoy the pool-side service, spacious cabanas, delicious eats and of course, the swim up bar. There is nothing better on a hot day than a frozen cocktail - and boy are they delicious at the Biltmore!
If you're looking to relax a little more, I highly recommend taking advantage of the Spa Biltmore. Access to the spa facilities is free for guests - so be sure to enjoy the whirlpool, steam room and sauna at your leisure! If you're looking to book a massage I've heard wonderful things about the Jewel of the Desert and Turquoise Sage Stone massages. Personally, next time I will be trying the Volcanic Clay Body Treatment.
As for the rooms, the property of the #luxelistapproved Arizona Biltmore is huge so there are plenty of options! From Guest Rooms to Suites to Villas, the Arizona Biltmore offers its guests spectacular views, wonderful amenities and expansive accommodations. I'm a sucker for the Cottage Guest Rooms with Fire Pit. At the end of a long day of swimming and relaxing, there's nothing better to keep that vibe going than by the fire with a glass of wine in hand. If a view is what you're after, than the Signature Suites are perfect! At about 1,000 sq ft and with views of either Camelback Mountain or the Phoenix Skyline - you cannot go wrong!
As for the food, you have plenty of options! Personally, I enjoy sitting outside in the cushy lounge furniture by the fire enjoying a nice glass of Pinot Noir and a charcuterie board. Wright's is your go-to for impressing that special someone for dinner, but be sure to check out their amazing brunch! As for those mornings after a little too much Pinot, room service has got you covered!
